We have been making wildlife photographic trips for many a year. Below you can see the most recent and go on to look at some of the images captured.

    Our highest altitude and hardest physical trip ever - to Tibetan China, mainly for mammals, then after to Sichuan in Autumn.

    A relaxing week doing macro photography - mainly Butterflies and Dragonflies
  11. New Zealand 2015
    How many endemic birds could we find and photograph? A good number by taking a full four weeks.
  12. South Africa 2015
    A hunt for those difficult and mostly nocturnal mammals.
  13. Panama 2014
    Warm tropical forest in a unique setting.
  14. Borneo and Sulawesi 2014
    A chance use every lens in the book with bird, mammals, butterfly and amphibian interest throughout.
  15. Bulgaria
    A week of doing other thing with Boris and then a group led week doing butterflies.
  16. Australia 2013
    An arc down the east side from Darwin to Melbourne and Tasmania
  17. Texas 2013
    A flight down to McAllen and then a drive over two weeks back to Houston. Lots of waders and water birds as well as the Texas ranch experience.
  18. Costa Rica 2012
    What could be better than a tropical adventure before Christmas? Costa Rica ticks all the boxes.
  19. Canada 2012
    Three weeks to explore the foothill of the Rockies then Banff and Jasper N.P.s before Cambridge Bay in the Arctic
  20. India 2012
    Three weeks of tiring travel in India but with many photographic rewards
  21. Hungary 2011
    A short visit to Hungary to coincide with the passage of tens of thousands of Common Cranes
  22. Brazil - Jaguars July 2011 
    Two week trip to the Brazilian East Coast Rainforest and the Pantanal looking for mammals.

    Hide photography of Spanish Steppe birds
  24. Peru October 2010
    Two weeks to spend a little at the coast and then explore the Manu biosphere Reserve
  25. Hungary May 2010
    A visit to Hortobagy National Park in Hungary using permanent photo hides - getting up close and personal.
  26. Ecuador February 2010
    Mainland Ecuador visiting sites from 300 metres (rainforest)   to 4,000 metres altitude (paramo) but mostly cloudforest. Organised by Naturetrek.
  27. Botswana November 2009
    The famous Okavango Delta with rain, cats and dogs
  28. Point Pelee May 2009
    Migration, American style. Across the pond and explore Ontario and Ohio for migrating birds - mainly Warblers.
  29. Sweden February 2009
    A short trip to experience proper winter and the hardy birds that endure it in Northern climes.
  30. Antarctica & Argentina October 2008
    In search of the Emperor Penguins at Snow Hills then Andean Condor and other Argentinean delights
  31. Japan (February 2008) 
    We enjoyed our first winter trip with Birdquest we had to repeat it. The cranes were just as good but the Eagles were better.
  32. Spain Extremadura (April 2007 and July 2008)
    Hide photography (up to 15 hours at a stretch) of a small range of special birds; Bustards, Bee-eater and Roller mostly. Then baking in the Spanish summer for birds visiting water
  33. South Africa (December 2006)
    Going west of Cape Town to see the Gannets then east to observe Blue Cranes, the national bird, in their breeding area.
  34. Brazilian Pantanal and Iguacu (August 2006)
    The fantastic waterfowl and raptors of the Pantanal wetland followed by the bird-rich falls at Iguazu.
  35. Oman (October 2005)
    Wintering waders and spectacular passage raptors in a very friendly part of the Middle East.
  36. Spitsbergen (June 2005)
    Cruising in the Land of the Ice Bear with splendid Auks, fabulous scenery and much history
