Climbing a hill on a lovely sunny March day sounded like a good idea. Three of us set off up and slogged our way up to the top seeing very few birds on the way. At the top, there was a biting cold wind (despite the fact that still conditions had been forecast!) but there were also the wonderful Ravens to share our lunch. A pair flew in shortly after we sat down ready to gobble up any left overs. We had flying displays too. They came too close for the camera to get the whole bird in the picture at times, but made the climb worthwhile. A week later our legs have just about recovered!
