![]() A bright sunny morning, so the coast was the place to visit. The Eiders are looking very smart now with their fine feathers now coming in and the waders are now in their winter coats. There were Redshanks running around, Oystercatchers , busy Turnstones and scuttling Sanderlings as this photo shows. ![]() The weather here has been so mild its hard to believe we are now technically in winter. Pictures are hard to come by as there is so much natural food that birds and wildlife are very dispersed. At the hide I nearly took out a patch of dead plant but forgot. The Wren came in and clearly appreciated it as a perch and made a feature of it. It does shout out November which is very pleasing as its a difficult month to portray. At the moment its a question of keeping providing the food and the birds will come once the natural food is more scarce - January and February most likely. Another year. |
